This circular walk begins and ends at the "Baños de la Hedionda" of Casares, a sulphur spring, freely accessible in the middle of nature. The first part through the rocky gorge is a marked path, but once we reach the plateau, there are only a few cairns and goat tracks that we use as paths. The most bizarre rock formations inspire the imagination of hikers and climbers to give them names. Archways, castles, spaceships, giant turtles and dinosaurs made of stone are just a few examples, but they serve as path markers through the sea of rocks. The view over the Strait of Gibraltar, the surrounding mountains and villages are further landmarks.
At the end of the tour, we can take a dip in the sulphur spring and/or stop for a drink and tapas in Manilva.
