Our circular walk begins and ends in the village, leading us along stone paths, forest roads and forest tracks down to the small chapel of San Juan de Dios and back to Gaucín. Amongst an interesting variety of vegetation, from fruit trees such as olives, carob trees and other fruit varieties, to pine forests and scrubland, there are always great views of the coast and the valley of the Genal River in front of us.
Once we arrive in the village, we can enjoy some local specialities in one of the village bars and stroll through the village before setting off on our return journey in the SUR-walks van.
