Sierra de las Nieves - The Wild Side
This route is one of the most beautiful ones at the National Park. Mainly off the beaten track, it has the most stunning views and introduces us to the amazing diversity of vegetation and landscapes of the Park
We start off on the main track up towards Torrecilla, but soon turn away from the beaten track to follow a smaller track on the northern sido of the mountain. The views from there are stunning, we can see Ronda, Grazalema and all the mountains and villages around. We then follow the path up towards the "Peñon de los Enamorados"", enjoying views over the other side, towards the see and the city of Malaga. Descending on a steep path we reach a hidden valley, a water place for animals, with fresh water coming out of the rock. Following the valley, through a deep and wild Pinsapo forest, a hugh rock on one side with caves and lush vegetation, we finnally reach the Cañada de las ánimas and an amazing natural view point, before heading back to our starting point.
