NEW ROUTE Sierra Cabrilla and Sierra Prieta
THIS IS NOT AN ORDINARY EXCURSION, BUT A NEW, EXPLORER ROUTE
The ‘Explorer’ routes are new hiking routes that we do for the first time, I have the route in my hiking GPS, hiking maps and/or hiking descriptions, i.e. all the necessary information to be able to do this route. But unlike all the other hikes I offer, I have not yet done these hikes myself. So it may be that this route is a bit longer than indicated, or that we can't do a part of it, that it is rocky, thorny or muddy, etc. In any case it requires a bit of adventurous spirit, safety and a good physical condition is a prerequisite.
From the Arroyo de las Viñas, on the outskirts of Alzaina to Sierra Cabrilla and Pico Prieta and back via the Fuente Techá. It is a demanding route with two peaks, but very beautiful
I know most part of this route, it is a new variant, not completely unknown. It is a difficult route because of the climbing sections. However, at least the most difficult ones can be avoided for the most part.
The ascent along the path of the Arroyo de las Viñas follows a well-defined path until we reach Siete Fuentes, also the ascent to the Puerto de los Amoladores now has a well marked path. It is circular, we first climb to the highest point of the Sierra Cabrilla and then to the peak of the Sierra Prieta.
