A short walk near Istán, along the upper Río Verde to the "Canalón" a beautiful natural rock pool, inviting for a swim in crystal clear water, a perfect summer tour

We drive on a dirt road from the village up along the river, and start walking from about 3 kilometers from our destination, following the valley of the Río Verde to the "Charco del Canalón", a popular destination for those who enjoy a cool dip in the river! And old irrigation channel above the rock pool creates a waterfall, like a curtain at the back. It's an easy walk, only at the very end we climb over some rocks to get to the pool. It's a great fun tour for those who like water
