Ascent to Pico Mijas (1.150m) from Puerto Colorado and cross-country to Pico Málaga (1.045m) with spectacular views over the village of Mijas, the Costa del Sol and the surrounding mountains.

The first part of the route goes along prepared trails until we reach the summit of Pico Mijas with its weather station, from there we go cross-country following the ridge of the mountain until we link up again with the route that takes us to Pico Malaga and back to the starting point.  It is a demanding route, but very beautiful.

Before returning we can stop in Mijas for some tapas.
